Special vs. Special Riviera

What is the difference between a Buick Special 2DR sedan and a Buick Special Riviera 2DR Hardtop? I have a 56 Buick Special 2 dr and I'm not sure if its just a Special or if its the Special Riviera

The Riviera is a hardtop (pillarless) so when you put all 4 windows down, there is no post between them. The Sedan has the thick metal frame around the door windows.
