Post by 58sled »

does any one know who makes new body mounts (rubber, polyurethane, ...)? Mine are totally shot and dry rotted.
Thanks

I bought all of mine from CARS, Inc as suggested above. The full set was well over $200 if I remember correctly. Not cheap for a bunch of small hockey pucks and squares with holes in them.

Thanks. I kinda forgot about CARS mainly because of there prices. I've had the body back on the frame for a while now but have been working on some engine issues. Thanks again

You probably solved the mount problem, but I have a box of a whole wack of assorted ones from Cars/Steele (because no one could tell me exactly what I needed, so I bought multiples). They are yours for the cost of shipping if you still need them. Cheers. Michael.

Thanks. I did solve my body mount problem. I actually bought a set of universal mounts from energy suspension. With some tweeking I was able to make them work and they're polyurethane to boot. Thanks for the offer tho.
