Vineyard

I just planted part of my vineyard. This small vineyard will have nine grape vines in all. Four are planted so far. These four grapevines are the Lenoir variety used by Messina Hof Winery in Bryan/College Station, Texas to produce their award-winning Port wine. I haven't decided what varieties the other five grape vines will be, but they will be planted next season. The dead brush in the background will be cleared away for the last row of vines. Each vine is capable of producing 55 pounds of grapes, or about five gallons of wine (about 15 bottles of wine).
