Garage
The first major project was extending the garage. The original garage was detached, but it was moved even with the main house at one point. An aluminum cover was erected over the old slab of the detached garage. I knocked out the back wall of the garage and extended it over the old slab to create a four car garage. I also reroofed the house at the same time with the best 30 year roof I could find. This really paid off: no damage from Hurricane Rita.
