There is an episode of "I love Lucy" where she ends up in Mexico and somehow becomes a Matador in a bullfight. She is driving a Special convertible if my memory serves right and her husband Desi Arnaz is in a Limited. She taps into the Limited's rear bumper in one scene.

If anyone here likes to check out old B-grade science fiction flicks from the 50's they are great for catching old cars. Libraries are good places to get them. They share/interchange with other Libraries to find what you want. Anyway one from 1958 called "War of the Colossal Beast" has what would be a new white colored 1958 Buick wagon shown twice soon after the movie starts. The first scene shows it pulling up and parking and the second scene is it driving then parking in a country setting. Good close-ups.

If I find more I'll post again........Lee

Another is on a Beautiful Mind about the true story of a guy who sees people and made up a government conspiracy in his mind. In the passage of time they pass through the late 50's and the guys wife is driving a 58 Buick. Looked like a big series. you can see it twice. once pulling out of their driveway and again on the road. you can also see a 46-48 chrysler from the late 40's early 50's in the timeline of the movie.

i just saw an animated commercial for Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers--those microwaveable pasta meals with a strainer in the lid. at one point in the commercial, they show a cartoon 1958 Buick on a stage. not anything amazing, but it made me smile. its not often you see a '58 on TV these days. :)

I'll have to look for that commercial.

I saw one while watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 a few years ago. I do not know the name of the movie, but it was a made-for-PBS movie about a guy that invented a time machine using his private air plane. He flew his girl friend back to a diner for lunch in April 1957 and there was a '58 Buick in the parking lot. My friends thought I was a total nerd when I pointed out that the car wasn't even made in April 1957.

Anyway, the movie was B grade, but very funny the way the MST3K guys commented throughout.
