turn signal switch

Help me find a switch assembly. 1957 - 1960 switch. Part number 1998183 turn signal switch. Any ideas?

this thing? i had an old photo saved off of ebay... which would probably be your best bet. is yours non-functional? i took mine apart and cleaned it out and took photos. if you want to see them let me know and i will post them.

Hello Dvonk,
this post is long ago, but hope you can help me. My Turn Signal switch has sometimes malfunction and i want to take it apart , too. Your photos could helpful for me, can you post or sent them to me?

hey André, here are the photos of the inside of the switch. its pretty simple, just make sure you keep all the parts in order and re-assemble them correctly. hope this helps!

Thats very helpful, thanks. But at thet moment i think the problem comes from the plate under the steering wheel. The lever does not lock properly. Will remove the steering wheel next time. At the moment the car is in the garage for ignition set.

the switch i rebuilt was original to the car. your best bet these days would probably be trying to find one on ebay.
