Gas tank straps

Post by Boots43 »

I'm getting ready to install the gas tank and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion of what to use between the straps and the tank. The fiber like material that was on it fell apart when I removed the tank. Thanks in advance. C.

Yeah I thought about buying a bicycle inner tube and trying that by cutting it in 1" inch strips. I'll let you know. Thanks
