Duplicating original color from factory chips

I have seen many nice cars but only 1 just ONE a 56 Ford Victoria had the correct style of color. Modern paints are very deep and bright while original paints tended to be more pastel or dull and shiney becuase of the lead. Is there a kind of paint that works best for trying to get the exact same color depth and shade?
