Hi all,
I have not yet used my 58 Buick as I am only just about to start restoring it.
I can't quite figure out what some of the switches do.
On either side of the steering wheel you get 2 large round switch mounts.
The left hand switch is for the Lights ? (the display says brighter)
What is the right hand switch for ? It says hi off low or something like that
Then what are the 2 sliding switches on either side of that ?

ive attached an image (from ebay) of the two sliding lever controls. the "heat range" slider controls the temperature of the air, and the "air control" directs where the air flows (i.e., to the vents/floor or defroster)
on vehicles with factory air conditioning, there is a "cold range" slider instead of the "air control" slider, and the "blower" knob has extra levers on it to control additional A/C features.

Thanks for the info guys..
My car has Airconditioning although I suspect it has been retro fitted by the local agents and it is not factory installed. The reason I think this, is as the car does not have the center AC vent. It only has the 2 side vents are they too are the fixed grills and not adjustable.
The car does have the multi blade fan with clutch, original AC compressor, condenser and dash controls including the multi function rotary switch on the right hand side and the "cold range" slider.
