adidas running shoes

If you’ve pulled on a pair of adidas running shoes in the past few years – and given how popular they are with runners there’s a decent chance you have – one question you may have asked yourself is: why bother with the laces? The snug fit of the Primeknit upper means that most runners rarely take the trouble to tie the laces. The UltraBoost slips on and off easily anyway, and when it is on it’s never loose.Well, now you don’t even have to look at those unsightly and pointless laces, as Adidas has announced a laceless version of the UltraBoost.

Let the love for adidas ultra boost ride on: Adidas just announced its first laceless iteration, hitting the US market September 1. Both athletes and sneakerheads alike have joined in on the adoration for a shoe like the Ultra Boost. It's technically made for performance—the signature Boost sole feels light and serves up the right amount of bounce—but it looks just as cool paired with slim jeans and track jackets. The Ultra Boost laceless uses Adidas's signature Primeknit fabric all over the shoe, fitting the foot more like a sock, and less like a shoe. It comes in two colorways—one in red and gray, and one in triple white. They'll both retail for $200.

One of the strongest collaborations in recent memory is undoubtedly the connection between Reigning Champ and the adidas Athletics category. This duo has put out one of the best adidas pure boost sale ever, and followed that up with an impressive sophomore effort as well as a stylish AlphaBOUNCE not long after. This Friday, adidas Athletics and Reigning Champ hook up once again to release two different silhouettes – the PureBOOST and AlphaBOUNCE – that feature a circular grey knit pattern and leather lining.Alongside the shoes is a fresh collection of apparel, which can be seen in the preview video ahead. Both the Reigning Champ x adidas Pure BOOST and AlphaBOUNCE release globally on August 4th.

Another new collaboration between Parley For The Oceans and adidas Running is set to hit retailers next week with the release of the Parley x adidas energy boost. The Parley x adidas adizero Prime Boost comes constructed out of a lightweight and breathable Primeknit upper in blue that is made of 95 percent Parley ocean plastic. Other details include a full-length Boost midsole in white, Torsion System, a bar made from renewable materials that supports the foot’s natural flex from heel to toe, and a Continental natural rubber Stretchweb outsole that injects underfoot flex and energy and also provides all-weather traction.
