is there anyone who has good knowleage on the wiper mechanism on the 58:s?
I have a limited with bad transmissions, spliced ​​slack cables, also one was stuck etc.
I got hold of the 2st NOS ones and tonight i should mounted them.

Moore problems
as you know i install a A/C compressor on my car

Pic 1 Arrow 1: is there a spacer between the bracket and the waterpump house or is it a larger house ? the gap is about 1/2"

Pic 1 Arrow 2: How is the hoses routed and should i use the old bracket for the hoses on top of the cover ...

oh yea
and i forgot to mention the fuel pump

At the new years morning i visit a guy in southern Sweden who hade spare parts from 54 old -58 Buicks !!!!! :shock:
what a great collection of parts, he hade everything i needed exept one of the two a/c pulleys.

He told me that there was 2 different shaft diameter on 58 and 2 different pulley ...

the memory is never too good

Looks like both pulleys on fan and crank are "extra" if you know what i mean
the original 2 row pulleys are there and then the a/c pulleys are bolted on them
so i have to find 2 a/c pulleys or make them myself maybe )

i wonder if someone can tell how the belt is set up when the engine has an ac compressor.
cant find any good pictures on it
i´m planing to mount a aftermarket ac on my 58 limited.
i wanna do it as near the original as posssible .
