can get a limited
hey folks.
I have a connection to 3 limiteds. I am going to try and get one for a project. How much have you guys invested in restoring your Limited if you have done most of the work yourself?

Re: Petronics Ignition System
I know that is why I havent converted the B-59 over to Electronic Ignition. The issue is that with points its harder for it to fire right at higher RPM.

I think that having a discussion topic just for Limited series cars because of there uniqueness and one of a kind design. I think they do deserve a seperate topic.

Wheres the community?
Where is everybody? We could team up with our sister site Buick-59.com becuase alot of them love the 58's as well. That would help.... There is alot of traffic on that site. We need to get more people on this site! It is vital to the survival of our community! My 2 Cents.

Re: 364 and synthetic oil
Update,
I was messing with the idle on the B-59 and found out that just by idling it a little higher it stops knocking. So when I switched to synthetic I had to increase the idle just a hair or 2 and that stopped the knocking!

Especially after I got the new dual Smithy glass paks put on the exhaust, also that very nice Naked Lady of Duchess on the hood I added for promotion reasons  Buicks were the cream of the crop ...

What is worth more........ 58 Buick Limited or 59 LeSabre?
I would like your insight on what you think is worth more. a 1958 Buick Limited door riviera or a 1959 Buick Lesabre 2 door sedan. They are both in the same shape and condition they just vary in what needs done on them.
